I’m Em Stone, a clinical psychologist with over 20 years in the psychology sector, spanning both public and private settings. For fifteen of those years, I directed a large private practice, supporting thousands of clients through life’s most complex seasons.
I hold a Bachelor of Psychology and a Masters of Clinical Psychology, awarded the University Medal from the University of Sydney, along with multiple academic scholarships. My early career included research roles on government-funded projects, international conference presentations, and contributions to peer-reviewed publications.
I built a strong foundation in diagnosis and treatment using the biopsychosocial model, but I quickly needed more.
The gaps became my mission.
Driven by a fierce belief in human potential and a refusal to accept unnecessary suffering as the norm, I began integrating modalities beyond the medical model:
I’ve trained in these fields not as a seeker, but as someone called to teach from both sides of the bridge; clinical and transformational.
I bring both rigour and a reverence for the science of suffering and a refusal to leave it there.
When I’m not teaching, writing, or running my app, you’ll find me on the trail or in the ocean. As a child I represented sport at a national level and that same fire still fuels everything I do: master a skill, drill it and then find the next level.
Wait! Before you leave
